Finely chopped fresh cilantro – 1/4 cup
Roasted Jalapenos – 4
Milk – 350 g
Corn flour – 1 tablespoon
Onion powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Chili pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Tomatoes – 100 g
Garlic cloves – 2 large
Chopped green onion – 3/4 cup
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Cheddar cheese (Fresh, Shredded) – 250 g
Directions
- Melt butter in a medium size pot over low flame. Add green onion and saute for 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and saute 1 minute.
- Now add chopped tomatoes, jalapenos, cumin powder, onion powder and chili pepper. Cook for 2 minutes until it become soft.
- Mix cornstarch and milk into the pot and bring it to a boil.
- Then add cheese and cook until cheese melt into milk and transform into a sauce. Now take off heat.
- Add fresh chopped cilantro and salt to taste. Mix well and serve warm.
