- Blueberry Sauce –
White Sugar – 1 cup
Cornstarch – 2 tablespoons
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Blueberries – 1 cup (Fresh)
Water – 1 cup
- French Toast –
Bread (Cut in 1 inch pieces) – 12 slices
Cream cheese (Cut in 1 inch pieces) – 2 packages
Egg – 12
Milk – 2 cups
Fresh Blueberries – 1 cup
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Pancake syrup – 1/3 cup
Directions
- French Toast –
- Take a baking dish and arrange 1/2 of the bread cubes in the dish with cream cheese cubes on the top.
- Add blueberries over cream cheese cubes and then cover this with remaining bread cubes.
- Now take a bowl. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, pancake syrup in it and mix properly. Add this mixture over bread toast in the baking dish. Cover this baking this and refrigerate overnight.
- Remove bread toast baking dish from refrigerator about 20 minutes before baking.
- Bake bread toast in preheated oven (175 degree C ) for around 45 minutes until the surface is lightly brown.
- Blueberry Sauce –
- Take a medium pan. Mix sugar, water, cornstarch together and cook it until it boils.
- Now add butter and blueberries in it and cook over low heat until every berries bursts.
- Drizzle warm blueberries syrup over french toast when they are served.
