Pasta – 350 g
Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
Garlic – 4 cloves
Sliced Mushrooms – 250 g
Chopped Onion – 1
Fresh Shrimps (Prawns) – 500 g
Chili Flakes – 1/2 teaspoon
Fresh Chopped Parsley – 2 tablespoons
Mozzarella Cheese – 1/2 cup
Parmesan Cheese – 1/2 cup
Milk – 2 cups
Low Fat Cream Cheese – 250 g
Paprika – 1 teaspoon
Salt – As per your taste
Directions
- Take a pot and cook pasta in salted boiling water.
- Drain out water and keep 1/2 cup of water for later use.
- Now take a frying pan and heat it on medium flame. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and add garlic, onion and saute until soft.
- Now add mushrooms and fry until light brown. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and cook for few minutes and then transfer all this in a plate.
- In the same frying pan add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add garlic and shrimps in it and cook until fragrant and change color. Now add chili flakes, paprika and salt.
- Cook all this for 1-2 minutes and after that add mushrooms to the pan and mix properly. Now transfer this mixture to same plate.
- Now add cream and milk in the pan and cook on medium flame until it turns into creamier consistency. Add cheese in it and let it melt on medium flame.
- Add Pasta and shrimp mushroom mixture into this creamy sauce and mix everything on low flame.
- Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy your creamy shrimp pasta.
